  1. Don't know if it's been reported. The window which displays the files inside the torrents when you add a torrent, used to save its position and size on the desktop. You could move it around and resize then close it, and the window would save the position and size next time you add a torrent. But since version 3.0, I think, the position of the window is not saved anymore. The size is saved. But the position always resets back to a default. Is that a bug? btw, I am using the latest stable version 3.1 build 26650 32 bit.
  2. I posted in the 1.8.1 thread, but I think that's closed so I will post again here: I don't know if this is a bug or intended: Set the scheduler to "seeding only" at any time slot have some downloading torrents, some seeding torrents. Set the Queueing to allow Maximum number of active torrent = 3, maximum number of active downloads = 3 When the scheduler is in the Full speed mode, your downloading torrents will be downloading (3 of them) all rest are queued (good) but when the scheduler is the seeding only mode, 3 downloading torrents will be uploading, and 3 of seeding torrent will be seeding (total 6 torrent running at the same time all uploading... contradiction to settings) Also, if you check the "Alternate upload rate when not downloading..." this does NOT take into effect when in seeding only mode.

  4. I restarted the server and I can't reproduce the problem anymore.... It seems my user was logged on twice, one is disconnected but not logged off. Ppbl the disconnected "ghost" was locking the resume.dat and the real logged on user can't access it. I restarted and now there's only 1 instance of my user, and utorrent resumes fine. Does utorrent check if the current user has access to resume.dat before starting? Sorry I don't remember how I got that disconnected instance of my user account... so I can't really retry to look at the log.
  5. For some reason every time I shut off utorrent (build 12639) and turn it on again. All the old torrents that I deleted gets reloaded back. All the new torrents that I added disappear... It was working before, maybe I added too many torrents? NOTE: I DO delete the torrents every time I remove. (right click -> remove and delete torrent). I looked inside where I store the torrents and the old torrents are NOT there. The new torrents are there, but it doesn't get loaded. Right now I have loaded a total of 48 torrents, but I don't know what number it was when it started to fail.
  6. Canada: I think bell is starting to throttle torrent around a specific time. My torrents go really fast at night (midnight to noon), but during the day it caps at around 50 down/30 up. http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r19066934-Sympatico-throttling-Bit-Torrents-now <- looks like a bunch of ppl are getting the same problem as me.
  7. @xabregas: I think DreadWingKnight is talking about directory list styles. When he said wait for 1.8 i think he was replying to Borisz. I have the same problem as you, I used to dl at a good speed but it seems like when I switched to 1.7.4+ I get speed issues, all the settings are unchanged. Does anyone else have this problem? And it is especially slow when utorrent is minimized in the task bar.
