I have 3.0 beta build 25277 running on winxp pro. I was having the same problem, when I deslected the extra files I did not want it seemed to trigger the random error to accure (error: the data is invalid.) and it stopped the download. I just chose to download them on low priority instead of do not download. This has fixed the issue for me. Hope this helps. Maddog390
