  1. @DenisCool & NightThief: Please don't bother asking when its done. They are not following any schedule. Its done when its done.
  2. @Stone No, If you are downloading single-files torrent you wouldn't need remember the state, "Select all" would be good all the time, wouldn't it
  3. @DonGata, Stone I reported about that before. But its not a bug it's "feature". For some reason µTorrent remembers the state of Select all or none. (Like you were downloading the same torrent every time??) Wouldn't it be more intuitive with all files selected per default?
  4. Yeah.. But you don't know about that the first time. Usually you presume that you can choose installation directory when you hit install. It would be better if the dialog said: "Do you want to install µTorrent ? (Copy the executable to %program files%\utorrent) (Y/N)
  5. Yea.. But it was good as reference to the forum. You got a good overview to check without searching the forum. Also you usually get the request described in one sentence, which also save a lot of time. Hope the database is still intact, I would gladly host it on my server.
  6. @krazyson Really? check with process explorer and watch the column named "Private Delta bytes" when u are experience a memory leak. What do you see?
  7. @Ryan Norton: Yep nuking the settings did it. thx @Ultima yes true, I forget about the real function of it. sorry
  8. @Dracon Check your default utorrent directory or program files/utorrent
  9. Found bug: The "?"-button @ RSS/Favorites doesnt work. my mistake Bug 2: Shouldn't the checkboxes should be all checked by default when you add a new torrent? So you don't have to press Select all everytime. Fixed by deleting old settings in appdata. And when you are checking a few files in a folder the square should be grey instead of white so you know that all files in it are not selected.
  10. Woow! Finally! Thank you BT team and Firon! Love the new treeview dialog. @FadeToBlack No. The compressed exes should have the same content in memory as the uncompressed when uncompressed. Its a matter of smaller filesize, at the price of increased start-up times. @apicola It tries to discover peers in the local area. Say if your ip is 234.123.12.12, and peers in the same area of you are using ips with 234.123.12.x then you might be able to connect to each other locally, which could result in LAN-speeds.
  11. Nice, finally some progress. Thanks! This will be interesting when it comes out.

    WebUI v0.315

@mfi08 You didn't read the readme, did you? I had the exactly the same problem and I just followed it. Do this: 1. Use the following URL: http://YourIP:UTport/gui/?action=setsetting&s=webui.cookie&v={} 2. Then Restart ur browser. 3. Reload the WebUI using the normal URL.
  13. What it needs is a collapsible checkbox treeview. Check my sig...
  14. "- Change: Added buttons to select all / deselect in the add dialog" Quite useless actually, if you ask me. Everyone tries to rightclick the filelist sooner or later. But OK..small steps is better then nothing. A complete redesign of the dialog would be more rewarding though
  15. You're the only one.. Just kidding
  16. Open source is great when it comes to p2p-clients, there are alot of creative people who are just waiting to "optimize" the client. Just take a look at this screenshot, latest version of "Azureus FU mod": With this shit it is nearly impossible to get caught if you use it right I don't say that closed-source clients are unhackable, but you are much more limited. In this case µTorrent beeing closed source is a great advantage.
  17. Yea, would like to sign-up! I will try it in on my university network which is quite restrictive to my home computer. Connection fast: 2MB/s. Using WinXP, Win2k Will try on Firefox (Mozilla suite), Opera, and IE.
  18. Hehe.. You really need mirrors even though the program is only ~150 KB ? Must be a damn pressure
  19. What is "Feature: Setting to determine the number of µTorrent users." ?
  20. "Add a custom extension to incomplete files" should have status Implemented and not "Bad feature"
  21. Then you just press F7. I didn't meant default as it won't remember the state everytime you start. Should be default in purpose just to get aware of it - and if you don't like it you turn it off. Just as with F4, F5 and F6.
  22. That would be a problem if you have many labels, especially if you are running on low resolution. Vertical is better, then you can have many labels with a long name without risking running out of space.
  23. F7 is some NICE SHIT!! Finally some order! Should be defaulted, so everybody knows its possible! And it should remeber your last view after restart. And it should be possible to rename labels in the listview by right click. Hopefully upcoming features!
  24. Oke.. so how does this "Peer Exchange" feature work? And shouldn't Read cache be listed as a new feature? EDIT: Found this: Azereus future changelog. New version should be out soon.
  25. So you can add torrents from "every other RSS Autodownload proggy" now? I havn't noticed that.
