  1. Confirm, when I start a magnet file download, the file is downloaded straight to the desktop folder regardless of the settings. It started a couple of BETAs ago.. :\
  2. Using the new alpha 26666 a new issue emerged: if I add a torrent via a magnet link, the download starts but a low speed (40kb/s). So, I have to stop it and start it manually (pushing the green triangle button), it immediately jumps at full line speed (for me it's around 740kb/s) and never steps down. The issue is reproducible every time I add a magnet download (not yet tryed with a .torrent drop-in). This is under WinXP SP3.
  3. About the Auto-Shutdown: how should it work? I mean, I have files queued to download, the option "shutdown when downloads complete" is activated and, as soon as just the only one file in download ends, the pc is shut down.. while a second file becames "downloading" :\ - shouldn't it wait for the new current file to finish the download? and so on for all the queue? Just wondering.. Tnx.
  4. Build: 26593 _ I'm seeing 3 crashes in a row up to now after a day running, strange, it "never" crashed before :\ _ In the logger tab, I see references to ghost of past torrent deleted from the list times ago, but still being searched for "<NULL> can't open .torrent file: ..." - Double checked, they are not listed and I'm looking throug my user directory to look for leftover, but can't find any. --Update Confirm, it keeps on insisting on crashing.. ill fated build, definately.
  5. --UPDATE The same torrent trashing for 6 hours moved to the old 2.2.1 was immediately reported as finished !?!? so.. data was always there' date=' hostage of uTorrent?[/quote'] I don't think you need to run it through 2.2.1 to get it to finish. When it started doing that, I just stopped it, forced a re-check and that was the end of it. But yeah, this bug is more than a mere annoyance and has no business existing in a RC, let alone RC9. Let's see if this new RC (9.5 or 10 or whatever) means something new on this front. Tnx, never noticed the "Force Re check" feature - I'll give it a try P.S. Forgot to mention, uTorrent build is 26586.

  7. About the RC9.. I took the time to register just to post this shoot about hashfails.. (first ever torrent downloaded with RC9): Caption: over a file of size 287Mb, downloaded 3.23Gb of hasfails :\ bayimg.com/oAlLPaaDE .. unbelievable (whatever the correct spelling is) uTorrent shifted from being a speedy magical program, as it was until 2.2.1, up to this incredible wanna-do-more-than-just-download attitude (no offense, but just to give the figure). P.S. Btw, where are the tags to post resized linked images on this board?
