  1. Something minor I just noticed with 2.0.2: http://tinyurl.com/2abdu42
  2. EDIT: Nevermind, had nothing to do with uTorrent. Stupid coincidence.
  3. Something I just noticed on a torrent was I wasn't downloading at more than 75 kB/sec from any of several peers (it was the max speed I could download from any peer I was connected to). I haven't downloaded anything else yet, so I can't confirm if it's reproducible, but I wanted to mention it in case anyone else saw it. EDIT: Downloading another torrent today and I'm getting speeds over 75 kB/s from peers. I think everything is the same between when I took that screen cap yesterday and today, so it must have been a fluke that they all were going the same speed.
  4. Just for the completeness, I had a couple downloads going at a total of 500kB/sec, as well as uploads of 110kB/sec, and my internet worked fine for browsing internet. (max upload on my connection is right around 110kB, and max down is about 1MB).
  5. Even when allowing max upload, I was still able to browse the internet without noticing a slow down in page load times. Maybe uTP is working well.
  6. rafi, thanks. I realize not showing up and not occurring are two different things. I just wanted to check that all the d/l was due to the overhead. As for efficiency, I'm seeing about 4kB/s d/l overhead to maintain a 70kB/s upload with TCP and about 13kB/s d/l overhead to maintain 90kB/s upload with uTP.
  7. I changed bt.transp_disposition to 5, and I'm still seeing a 12kB/s download rate on my seeding file. Do I have to wait for the tracker to update? Or should I stop and restart the torrent?
  8. setting net.calc_overhead to false made it go away. Thanks, I didn't realize it was set to true by default. What am I looking for when I turn off uTP?
  9. I just started running 1.9 alpha, and for some reason I am now downloading a file that I'm completing. Here's a screen shot of what I mean: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3109/3247927771_e42c2885f9_o.jpg What's going on? EDIT: I tried restarting uTorrent and I tried force re-check on the torrent, neither worked.
  10. I just had a crash on 1.8.1. Here's the crash dump: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=5ebfd459457397f3d2db6fb9a8902bda Things occurring prior to this dump include adding a magnet link to a torrent which was running for about 2 hours and connected to several peers/hosts but without actually downloading any blocks (first magnet link I've tried using), and also I had deleted 8 torrents (data and torrent file) totaling about 8GB at once about 20 minutes prior to the crash. What else do I need to supply? Oh yeah, I have uTorrent running on Vista business 32 bit.
