  1. Is it normal in the 3.3 Alpha version for the hash stats in the "Info" tab not to show?
  2. µTorrent 3.2 beta (27133) File not found during integrity check: remote-devpair.dat " " " " " remote-devpair.new " " " " " remote-devpair.old
  3. Crash Dmp http://www.filefactory.com/file/h0th94njrfb/n/27097-utorrent.f5d7.dmp OR http://www.filedropper.com/27097-utorrentf5d7 and yes I most certainly do have a PDF reader!
  4. µTorrent 3.2 beta (27097) Vista Crash from the toolbar= Help>Show "What's New Page" Everytime I click the "View a full list of what's new and improved" link uTorrent crashes.
  5. My Bad....All I had to do was tick "Check association on startup"
  6. File Blocked for Violation. The file you requested has been blocked for a violation of our Terms of Service.
  7. µTorrent 3.1.3 stable (27099) "An older version of uTorrent is running... Please shutdown uTorrent and try again." when adding a .torrent using the double click method.
  8. Info from 'Tabs" not showing. 3.2 Beta (27026) I was flying along with the most recent Beta build and out of nowhere no info shows from any of the "Tabs".. ETC., ETC. A restart of uTorrent however fixes it
  9. Not sure if there is a fix for your 3.1.3 version problem but you can have more than one version of Utorrent that you can either run simultaneously (different ports) or just run an earlier version by itself for your convienience. All you need to do is have a seperate directory where your settings.dat is for each instance and place Utorrent.exe in that directory. When running two instances at the same time you must have the Utorrent.exe shortcuts target as "C:\Program Files\uTorrent\uTorrent.exe" /RECOVER
  10. Create a Private beta test section in the forum and release the betas to a chosen few that you know that are willing to test... That way you won't get dupes on the same old problems and less heated discussions!
  11. Things seem to work fine using 3.1.3 (27022) except when adding a .torrent file to an already opened client by double clicking. "An older version of UTorrent is running, please shut down and try again." message always shows...Confirming the message proceeds to add the torrent successfully. *UPDATE: It seems that the settings.dat is starting to grow on this version also..10MB Utorrent started to get slow/hang on open and close at the 5MB mark. The only thing I have done was added/scheduled Rss feeds and the normal downloading/seeding on a couple of .torrents when I noticed growth in the settings.dat.
  12. AlexBest, you may be in the wrong utorrent folder unless you changed it... and the settings file looks like a media file in your pic. The default location should be in the roaming folder..VISTA\7= C:\Users\"yourusername"\AppData\Roaming XP= C:\Documents and Settings\"yourusername"\ApplicationData\
  13. It could be that you're setting.dat has gotten way too large in size... Do what mcaspi says...Make sure you disable "start with windows" option in the Utorrent settings and stop all Utorrent instances in task manager. Then you can proceed to make a backup of settings.dat and settings.old if you wish then delete the originals. Its been a recent problem in the 3.2 beta build and this is only a temporary fix or you can use the last stable release until this problem is resloved!
  14. My settings.dat is now 47.5MB and it started to climb only when i started adding rss feeds to automatically download episodes.
  15. This is "Beta" after all...and yes it does have many problems that the basic guides can't address! Also why are the developers coding both Bitorrent and Utorrent exactly the same... Same exact problems on both clients!
  16. ISP Throttling is going to be the norm in the near future, so you'd better get used to it. As long as there is copyright material to be had in torrenting then this "throttling" situation is just going to get more widespread with all the isp companies.
  17. When saving in Notepad try "Save as type"= All Files (*.*) not as *.txt
  18. You're guides are very helpful indeed Rafi but there are new advanced settings that have been implemented to the newer versions of utorrent that are not listed in the guides... ex: bt.auto_dl_qos_min, isp.peer_policy_enable, etc, etc...
  19. Some of the reasons people are downgrading may be because of no documentation for the newly added advanced options [settings] starting with v3.0, therefore not a full understanding of what adjustments that can be made for optimal performance in the newer versions.
