  1. It still doesn't honor your portable install, not good. Had to uninstall and replace the .exe again. 3.3.1 beta (build 29678)
  2. Or just replace the .exe file and you'll never get any unwanted garbage.
  3. I use Windows 8 Pro x64 MCE. Seems to work for me. I will try with only "calc.exe" as well, instead of full path. Edit: Works fine. Haven't tried any parameters. µTorrent 3.3.1 Beta (build 29638) [32-bit]
  4. If you choose Accept you'll get all those lovely toolbars. Better read before than come whine that it installed without you said so, which you did. Good thing it didn't got installed now, though. You can just replace the utorrent.exe with the new, that's what I always do.
  5. Takes about 2 minutes with 1500+ torrents on Windows 8, i5 3570k. Sometimes, now it's 5 minutes and counting. Ok, 6-7 minutes this time.
  6. Mine also installed to %AppData%\uTorrent. I have mine standalone/portable: utorrent.exe and settings.dat in a folder. Please let it update like it used to.
  7. The date for newest build is not correct.
  8. "We"'ll see what can be done.. see below I also vote for more vertical space, that being more area for the directory tree-field. You could have it to either side of the info, I would prefer if you move the directory tree-field to its own space to the right and make the info-side a bit narrower as you have more space downwards. In worst case you could use two tabs instead of having everything on one page.
  9. What's your time settings in Windows?
  10. The latest µTorrent 3.3 alpha (27184) crashes intermittently, sent reports. I also get a lot of "Can't open .torrent file: ./complete\filename.torrent" My settings: Store .torrents in: .\torrents Move .torrents for finished jobs: .\complete Works perfectly fine with µTorrent 3.2 Beta (build 27215). Thanks.
  11. Then maybe you should read the whole line: http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/7792/asasasu.png
  12. I checked mine and it was mostly RSS feeds and recent added torrents, I believe. Line after line repeating, like: Feed 1 Feed 2 Feed 3 Feed 1 Feed 2 Feed 3 Tried to remove all with a hex editor but it became corrupted when trying to load it. My settings.dat was about 150 MB before and 20 kB after edit. BEncoder might've worked to remove all dupes, but waited for about 10 minutes for it to load the original file. I took an older backed up settings.dat I had and changed my stats with BEncoder instead. As someone said, the current settings.dat may be hosed forever.
  13. Maybe a bug? ... Probably counting both the resume dir AND resume.dat file. I have tried turning off resume.dir_only and resume.enable_resume_dir. Also tried removed the resume_dir folder. I think I even tried move my resume.dat-file as well. It works in µTorrent 3.1.2 (build 26746) but no builds after that. =/ I guess this is what caused it: "-- 2012-02-15: Version 3.1.2 stable (build 26749) - Fix: fixed bug where adding a torrent from cmd line could overwrite the same torrent from resume.dat" Or it's something else that got changed in that build.
  14. Still getting duplicated torrents. http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=639722#p639722 Anyone know what it could be?
  15. Still same issue for me with the new build. =/ http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=639722#p639722
  16. I've enabled following under Directories. But doesn't matter if it's static or relative paths. And I use settings.dat in same folder as utorrent.exe
  17. Issue: All loaded torrents are duplicated. Something happened between µTorrent 3.1.2 build 26746 - 26753. Build 26746: 1 721 torrents. Build 26753: 3 442 torrents. I've tried following without success: There are 1721 resume-files. Opened resume.dat in Notepad2, no duplicates when searching for any torrent-name. Not sure what the global_resume.dat contains or what it does, haven't tried rename it. I've reverted back to build 26746 atm, where it works. Thanks.
