  1. Why developing both 3.2 RC, 3.2.1 Alpha and 3.3 Alpha at the same time?
  2. I upgraded to the latest version today and I have a few problems: 1. Torrent name isn't changed when the .torrent-file is downloaded (magnet links) 2. I get "Disk overloaded" all the time. 3. settings.dat sometimes becomes corrupt Downgraded to 27272 again and it works.
  3. For me, with 500 torrents, it worked in 45 minutes before the crash. No way to start it again. Note that I ran it sandboxed in Sandboxie.
  4. So now, no new 3.2 beta updates will be released? Will 3.2 never be more than beta?
  5. You sound too rudely, buddy... Haha, but it's true. I bet over 90 % of all µTorrent users are using the program to download "illegal" (copyrighted) music/film/games!
  6. Maybe because you live in the US? They can't prove ANYTHING without access to the HDD, at least not in my country. I am feeling sorry for all in the US.
  7. And that's why the most users use µTorrent; to download copyrighted material. And no, with crypted disk and VPN, you are safe.
  8. Are they? If so, I think µTorrent must must write some registry keys to work, and that's why UAC pops up...
  9. You must have administrator rights to install µTorrent.TNX' date=' you are right. Needs to install this program but I copied it to folder C:\Program Files (x86)\uTorrent\[/quote'] The uTorrent.exe you can download from here (www.utorrent.com) are the installation file, not the "real" uTorrent.exe in the %ProgramFiles%\uTorrent\.
  10. You must have administrator rights to install µTorrent.
  11. Make sure your settings.dat is not large. If it's more than like 100kb or so' date=' then you should delete it + .old before starting up uT.[/quote'] How do I go about doing that? Where can I find settings.dat and that .old file? How are those significant in uTorrent? %APPDATA%\Roaming\uTorrent
  12. No. You see, I am sitting waiting for an acceptable, relatively bug free relese of μTorrent.
  13. By *foreign* you probably mean non-Swedish' date=' right ? ... Ar you sure it is 98% ? .. I heard it is 9.8%... So, use 3.0... But I guess the bloated Vuze is fine too... Well, if I go back to 3.0 I lose over 1 000 torrents, just because of the bug that made µTorrent create shitty (non-working) .torrent-files.
  14. Oh, the problem is that 3.1.x is BANNED from 98 % of ALL private trackers, just because of too many BUGS and beta-versions are banned too. (I must say Vuze is a really good BitTorrent-client )
  15. Well' date=' does it happen also with the latest stable with an empty (default) settings.dat file ?[/quote'] Yes. EDIT: What do you mean with the latest "stable"? If you mean µTorrent 3.1.3, it starts. If you mean µTorrrent 3.2.27026, it doesn't starts. I tried with an empty settings.dat-file.
  16. And I think you need to stop expecting any uTorrent version especially a beta to run under Sendboxie when you are specifically told that uTorrent was not tested under it. You didn't read what I wrote? It doesn't matter if I run it inside or outside Sandboxie.
  17. I am trying to help you, for once, make an acceptable version of μTorrent.
  18. Are you joking? 3.1.x are more like pre-alfa than alfa. No, it isn't even pre-alfa. 3.1.x contains so much bugs that it is more correctly to call it pre-pre-alfa. 3.1.x isn't a stable version, the latest stable version of µTorrent is 3.0. Versions later are just alfa, or even before alfa.
  19. Enough, I'll change to Vuze until the crashes stops. I used to love µTorrent, but now I don't know what to think.
  20. I know, but it is the same thing in a VM, so I don't think the problem is that I am running it in Sandboxie. EDIT: It doesn't matter if I run µTorrent inside or outside Sandboxie.
  21. Well, settings.dat is empty in the current sandbox, 27026 doesn't starts. 20720 starts in its sandbox, but it's laggy and crashes whole the time. The best working versions of µTorrent for me are 2.2.1 and 3.0.
