  1. Heh I wasn't aware it did all that I'll have to see on replacing this netgear. Thanks muchly. I'm sorry I don't know all the staff. And given Last post: 2007-11-16 14:11:52 it's perfectly understandable
  2. rafi we don't care about your statuses. There are more important things to fix.. like the halfopen resolution. I appreciate the constant work alus and ryan. Thank you!! Can I ask what routers you guys use to get a teredo address working?
  3. Uhm, L: identifies it as a local peer, it doesn't limit you to a specific speed. Th(at/ose) peers are only giving you the speed... do you see the peer(s) marked "L" in the Flags column in the Peers tab? That's what you should be looking at.
  4. Oh I have no idea about that... I think it's how uTorrent internally detects fakes and many tracker(s software) includes some way of denying tracker access to certain peerid masks. DWK should be along shortly if it's that big a deal...
  5. Reserved bit is in the protocol, yea? http://bittorrent.org/beps/bep_0000.html I guess it's to alert them that spoofing clients won't update their peerid definitions (immediately)
  6. uTorrent only reads webui.zip. Rename/delete the new one... but you must rename the old webui file webui.zip to use it.
  7. Firefox on Mac OSX is a joke... but I cannot confirm. What addons are you using? Edit: my thought on the naming.. works fine as is, just like the utorrent-help.zip is on the server being updated whenever so you can F1 auto-download it to get the most recent... webui.zip should stay the same name for auto-update purposes... As far as old builds being available, I guess it's prudent to HAVE maybe accessible from TRAC for regression testing?
  8. I wouldn't hard-code the torrent.file's name ... unless it still gets saved as the 302 redirect's "correct" filename according to the server. . . Have you checked out the "bookmarklet" in the WebUI sticky.. it may do what you're requiring, though i'm not sure if it's as cross platform as sharpoblunto's client :/
  9. Good question, is it time again for feature requests.. Or maybe a gauge of how many/what kind of uses people have for your BFE?
  10. Don't set your uploads to 1 KiBps, leecher. This has been changed in 1.8.1 if you have beta-updates enabled you can grab that, or from the Announcement thread.
  11. ... Alt-Tab doesn't bring up the popup window? Previously when that happened your modal dialog would be accessible from Alt-Tab. If this is no longer the case due to all dialogs being non-modal perhaps something should be added to the Alt-Tab logic to bring all windows to front in this case. (Previously there were problems with the crash dialog getting hidden)
  12. ... There's no difference in "background" traffic. You don't notice why you have spikes like in rafi's graph? Turn off DHT, RSS, or bt.scrape_stopped. @ rafi: Your graph actually doesn't give much information without context.. it shows at roughly 5 minute intervals your uT was doing SOMETHING. The hour-graph (30 sec. intervals between update) shows what I notice, that probably those spikes are DHT traffic(It takes about 2 minutes to update your cache both IN and OUT). I guess you don't use RSS, or you'd see more overhead every 15 minutes (or down to 5)... My 15 feeds of 20 items each pumps out 100 KiBps down, 5 KiBps up sustained for about 30 seconds every update interval.
  13. Is that a problem? How are you basing this? I routinely get stuck on a BitComet-created or BitComet-centric torrent (damn you padding files)...
  14. Well, READ the documentation of course.
  15. This is not a troubleshooting thread. Make your own thread in that forum, and please read through and include the LOGFILES asked for in http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992
  16. Not a feature request thread. Brought up no less than twice in the in-development thread.
  17. NOthing to speak of. They're blowing smoke out their collective anuses. Choose a new tracker if they continue to be intransigent.
  18. Re-read my report. As for bug reports, where would you like them?
  19. <Fanfare> Thank you Directrix and the rest of the testing team for the new release </Fanfare> Edit: The HowTo redirects bugs.utorrent.com to utbugs.leetwebhosting.com which is rather useless atm
  20. ... You weren't held enough as a child. If the site wants to specify how often you SHOULD CONTACT IT, you have no right whatsoever to do it more often, especially since the methods/response is standardized and documented. That it can be done on any client is a result of internal/external team decisions. This team decided to respect tracker owner wishes.
  21. You can't spell. And it's good to see you finally aren't posting (most of) your ideas in the development thread.
  22. TROUBLESHOOTING in other threads >< Don't link to copyrighted content <facepalm>
  23. Token auth is off by default... how would it be interfering?
  24. Feeds are in the Category pane (F7), You can still access your favorites in Ctrl-R.
