  1. I can imagine there might be issues with the (older) XP x64, which is probably the least tested platform.

That might be an understatement. The way things are going, it seems to me that the testing you speak of consists of one program launch on the computer of whoever compiled that particular version and if it doesn't crash within 3 seconds it's considered stable.

  2. If utorrent went open source all of its problems would be solved in a month.

    Well that's for hoping.

Why can't uTorrent go open source? It's freeware anyway.

Some people still plan to make money out of it. Cannot do that with open source... :P

Money out of FREEware? Sounds like an oxymoron to me. Besides, there's open source SW out there that is paid for.

TBH, I'd rather pay €10 to get rid of the ad-jazz, get a Lite version instead and a guarantee that bugs I report actually will be fixed... rather then this freeware nonsense that forces me to use a 3-year-old version. </rant>

  3. The line dividing torrent job list and the sidebar cannot be moved further left from its default position so unless you have 20-letter labels you're gonna end up with a lot of white space there.

Furthermore, uTorrent no longer remembers whether it was minimized upon exiting or not. (i.e. It always starts popped-up)
