We are talking to MS defender team constantly about their false positive detections. They remove it for one build, but next build this happens again. "It not us, it is AI detection, it is still learning" - the answer in some cases, but most often no answer at all.

You are correct. We are using NSIS as installer solution, and the only dll we drop is bt_datachannel.dll

Could you share the dll files names please?

The easiest way to fix it will be to download latest version from the website and install it on top of existing.

@joshace 3.6 - what exactly does not work for you?

Thank you for the report! Which version of windows 11 are you using? Do you have previous version installed? Did you try to completely uninstall old version before installing new one? If you retry now, do you still see the same result? Thank you.

The link above may give you old or new beta based on bucket. The "older' build is about 16 MB, the new one is 3+ MB. Make sure you are getting the new one.

Older builds in the update folder has autoupdate enabled, so they will be autoupdated. The one: http://download-lb.utorrent.com/uuid/9c0f37dd-29af-46a2-ab36-176ecc5e2209 has autoupdate disabled, so user can stay on it until 3.6 is stabilized.

We are working on stabilizing 3.6 builds. If 3.6 is not working for you, you can still use this 3.5 version, which has update to 3.6 disabled.

When you saw this error message, did you have any version of utorrent already installed, or this was the first time installation on clean machine?

Correct. The rest are .dll which are used by utorrent.exe

We do not install Edge itself, only WebView components are installed. They are replacing IE frame component used for years and deprecated by MS. WebView is used to display web related content.

46346 is beta version - updates are enabled by default and not designed to be disabled. But You can manage update settings in the stable version.
