  1. i checked on amazon for a decent router, and all the comments say the same thing about bittorrenting. does anybody know if there are routers out there that are perfectly fine, right out of the box?
  2. damn... nothing worked. if you guys run out of ideas, i'll prolly be on the lookout for a new router.. so does anybody have recomendations?
  3. really? i haven't even had it for more than 2 years.
  4. positive it aint the modem... if i plug right into the modem it works fine... also when i'm closed out of Utor it works fine.
  5. k i updated, did the erase nvram;reboot, put in the startup script, and now, a day later, its disconnecting me again! any more suggestions?
  6. thanks... i pasted that in and this is what i got: reboot: not found i'm running HyperWRT 2.1b1
  7. i have an interestin prob.. i had hyperWRT installed for a while, and it seemed to be working great. then, after a few days, my connection started dropping. so i decided to try dd-wrt. again, it seemed to work fine, then my connection started dropping. and also, with dd-wrt, it was having problems assigning IPs, so, since neither seemed to work better than the other, i switched back to hyperWRT. this time, my connection started dropping immediatley. and now, my connection will drop even if i close out of all my downloads. does anyone have any suggestions?
  8. I have a prob... My router (wrt54gs) was acting up so i came here to get the solution. I installed HyperWRT and put in the startup code, rebooted. It seemed to work fine, then it started disconnecting again. So i installed the dd-wrt mini v23 and telneted the script in. Again, it seemed to work fine, and now its acting up again. anybody have any suggestions? please?
