  1. That's why we need to take a bee for instance, and make a kick-ass logo out of it.
  2. It's probably a bug, like Firon said. Hopefully a cosmetic one... :/
  3. Are you absolutely 100% sure the torrent is private (private flag embedded in the torrent file, and not through the announce method)? :|
  4. Guys, there's a long-running thread just for this: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=2417&p=1
  5. gabo03: yeah, false means that it doesn't download first/last piece first. True means that is does.
  6. To prevent people like you snooping around. Beta builds are supposed to be released when Ludde feels they're "stable" enough, and he can't do that if people constantly try out new builds and report constant crashes. :/
  7. Shaw and Rogers both suck ass, according to most members here. And in my peer tab, I see almost exclusively Rogers when I'm downloading/uploading to a Canadian. There's just no way of contacting them, of course. Maybe someone with one of these ISP's needs to create a "Calling all screwed over peeps" thread... :/
  8. It could incur a small, very minor performance hit, but would you rather have that, or no speed at all? :|
  9. It's not for public consumption, slimy, hence...no changelog. :/
  10. Because it gives you much better speeds with just a tiny increase in cpu usage. Edit: updated correct info.
  11. Oh, OK. If you've turned on UPnP and it shows "UPnP(xxxxx)" etc. in the status bar, you're good to go (UPnP is the same as Network OK). And your modem is probably just that - a simple modem with nothing built-in - so don't worry about it.
  12. If your modem doesn't have a mini-router then you don't need to port forward it. You'll have to Google your cable modem's manufacturer to find that out. :|
  13. Hmm...so you are sure you've port forwarded your router? And what do you have, a modem/router combo, or a modem and a router? 'Cause sometimes modems have a mini-router in them and you'll have to port forward this as well. :/
  14. Shareware? It's donationware, at most.
  15. That's what I heard. :| But since I haven't even seen it in action, you can dismiss my comment...
  16. Flowevd: IIRC some people on µTorrent's IRC channel have Oink invites, if you're really that desperate...
  17. Hey, that's awesome MaV! I've integrated it in the mini-guide, if you don't mind.
  18. Well don't worry about it r00ted. IIRC it's gonna be implemented a bit seperated from the main program, thus only the peeps who need to use the web thingy will have to download that part.
  19. Build 405 is out. Grab 'em fresh from the oven.
  20. Because Firon is MIA since Friday I believe...and Silverfire's a bit too lazy to do it.
  21. Moody: you can flash the WRT54GS to either HyperWRT's Thibor or DD-WRT's firmware and get rid of all its problems. http://utorrent.com/faq.php#Special_note_for_users_with_Linksys_WRT54G_GL_GS_routers
