420 and others who have been experiencing problems with https in the 3.0 client: We have just pushed a new version to autoupdate (r22519) which fixes a couple of bugs related to https. Please let us know if you are still having problems with the new client. Thanks for your help in debugging this.

Hi gjf- would you mind trying this: - Select the "Logger" pane in the main µTorrent window. - Open the Remote Access preferences dialog. - Disable Remote Access, and hit "apply". - Re-enable Remote Access, and hit "apply". Do any messages about Falcon, "Remote Access" or "proxying" appear in the Logger pane when you do this? Thanks.

** Note on Falcon with non-English clients ** We have discovered that the last beta of Falcon does not work if your client is set to use a language other than English. Specifically you will be unable to register your username and the client will instead show a "reconnecting" message forever. (The problem is known to be present at least in Russian and Spanish modes). This will be fixed in the next version of the Falcon beta client, which will be released next week. In the meantime you can access Falcon by temporarily switching to English mode before connecting.

(Choose "About uTorrent" in the Help menu to see.) - What language is your computer / utorrent set to use?

@secret_myth: The dialog appears because you are at risk of crashes if you run NVIDIA NAM and uTorrent at the same time, unless you upgrade NAM to version 73.12. However unfortunately, as you point out, 73.12 has not been released yet. As I understand it should be released fairly soon. Until version 73.12 is released you should probably just disable NAM if you are going to be running uTorrent. (If this is not possible, NVIDIA tells us it may be sufficient to disable NAM's "FirstPacket" feature until an upgrade to 73.12 becomes possible.)
