So maybe edit it here http://update.utorrent.com/checkupdate.php and in the first post?

So that makes me think it was intentionally written - to force users to ugrade to new 1.7 series...

See 1st post in this topic. quote: "This crash bug affects 1.6.x, 1.7.x and 1.8 releases to date. No update will be released for those branches. Upgrading is strongly recommended." This is misinformation that caused many trackers to ban 161!

Who needs support? I dont want to use app developed with such errors so I stay with 161 - just dont spread info that its also affected. Affected are only new 1.7 series.

1.6.1 is not affected by this exploit. munch - download and test yourself.
