  1. We don't make recommendations for VPN/ Proxy sites. This is up to the user to find and research which VPN/Proxy they use for utorrent.
  2. Only way is to find the older utorrent version and use those. But for the site they only will support the latest version only on here.
  3. Google has nothing to do with utorrrent. Neither Google or Microsoft locks account related other then their own system. So whom is your ISP provider.
  4. That means ISP Throttle...you either have to get a good VPN or use Proxy so they won't throttle your torrent usage. When your ISP software detect torrent traffic it Throttles your internet until you stop using torrent activity. There's not much you can do here-before they sent out emails warning if further torrent usage your internet ISP subscription would be cancelled because of this. But now they just Throttle your internet until you stop using torrent software.
  5. Did you close utorrent before turning off computer? Screenshot of the download? Had to know if there no way to verify what that torrent was to know if it was real or fake torrent file.
  6. Where did you get utorrent from? Was there other running version before? And what error message did it give you?
  7. Then your posting to the wrong forum. There is utorrent web and that should be where you post the issue. This is for utorrent Windows not the web version.
  8. So did you check your torrent settings to insure when you close with the "x" option that it closes torrent not minimize utorrent. I know there is a menu option for that to close when you use the "x" to close the progam.
  9. It's probably your closing from the wrong location that the problem is happening. Is there a reason why you can't just close with the "x" to close utorrent. Systray closing isn't something that it should be used for.
  10. That to means look like ISP throttle where they detect torrent usage and throttle your internet. So does your internet speeds speed up when your not using utorrent? If it does then that means that your ISP is detecting torrent usage and throttle the internet because of that. And it can be a change in provider they now have torrent Throttle when detected. Maybe your provider switch ISP and now the current ISP is throttling to stop torrent usage.
  11. So is this one file or individual files? Maybe you might have to create individual for each folder or files to upload to torrent sites? As to creating torrents I looked and there isn't much utorrent can do because you need to find trackers to get it started so you might have to go online to find these resources to help create your torrents.
  12. I am still using 2.0.4 so not sure if that's changed but I'll take a look at mine to see what's different.

    Speed Guide Hangs!

If you can show a screenshot of your setup others could tell what might be a good range for speed or amount of file download to get better control of it.
  14. When in installed didn't it give you a option to run at startup?

    Speed Guide Hangs!

Setup Guide isn't what you use. It doesn't work to help setup the guide. Setup Guide is for non-torrent usage. I never use it because torrent varies from seeders.
  16. Can't see what your completely seeing as it's cut off to know what were looking at.
  17. In the settings you can "Allocate" the space ahead of time for the torrent. It's in the settings that you can do that. Otherwise you will need a larger drive in your laptop if your laptop doesn't have a 2nd slot to hold a Large 2.5 HDD to save onto. Worse if you don't move the laptop alot you have to change to Ext. USB larger HDD to store your downloads to.
  18. Did you look closer at the settings. If I recall there is a setting to not run at "Startup". Did you see that?
  19. Here's the thing if you have spaces allocated for other torrents that haven't finished downloading this will reduce the amount of space to save from utorrent. As asked what is your utorrent running from and how much space is on that drive - as the is the likely place where all the torrent activity is saved to that your using utorrent from. When I used utorrent I always use another HDD that has plenty of space or SSD that has enough room to fit all files and not use the Main C:\ drive to store torrent downloads. This is asking for trouble. We'll need this info to figure know what you configuration is.
  20. I put at the feet of Norton as the culprit - it has past suspect of doing this for any torrents or utorrent program for matter of fact. You need to remove Norton and use a better program. If you have Windows you can get Defender for free to use without issue and my experiences is that it works and unobtrusive when running.
  21. Check your settings as it could be your limited to how man are active at any one time or one has preferred setting to down first.
  22. Depends on the tracker being used could be disabled or not working but check to make sure you have enough tracker for each torrents to improve the chances to get more downloads parts to complete torrent. If there is only one tracker then unless you find similar torrent that has more tracker that is the only way to go.
  23. By default when it completes it re-seeds automatically. It should show you on the utorrent display seeding section. I don't recall what it looks like but it moves to the seeding section when it's completed. Removing completed torrents is up to each individual user but sometimes one has hardware limits and removing doesn't mean anything bad. Each user has a limited resource. But if you don't remove the torrent from the seeding section the next time you startup the torrent will re-seed. But the choice of what you do will be each own choice to make.
  24. Send a request to Pro support on this issue.
  25. utorrent can't fix bad magnets. You need to find a better magnet for the file your trying to download.
