  1. That sounds more like ISP throttle then internet issue. If you just browse the internet and nothing happens then this is something of a ISP issue and you will have to contact them.
  2. Here's the thing during that time you delete to when you trying to recovery them it's next to "0" that anything will be recovered since during the deleting the system has written to those very same locations so unless they are in the Trash bin the chances of recovery is very low now.
  3. That goes beyond what utorrent help forum is to help with the utorrent software. You will have to look online for software to do what your asking for and decide what software to use.
  4. Maybe revert Windows 11 and see what happens. Ports closed isn't something utorrent can fix you need to go to a Windows 11 forum to ask why those ports are closed and how to open them.
  5. You have to setup this in the setting preferences to tell it what directory or folder to save it to. You should create folder for each torrent functions so that there is a completed folder so you know that is the finished download. If you don't make or do any settings changes it will store by defaults settings when installed.
  6. Where are you trying to save to? Look at that when you go to download or save and see where it's showing the save to locate at.
  7. Ok ,I finally went to FF99.0.2 and used the link that was post and I also found while searching: https://www.askvg.com/tip-restore-classic-download-confirmation-prompt-in-mozilla-firefox/ And followed the instructions and so far it is working as before in FF97.0.2 install with torrents links going to utorrent instead of trying to save them instead. I'll keep using it for now with this setting but will have to change if with subsequent FF updates as it most likely will get removed in future updates forcing me to do this process of changing it all over again. But I guess I will live with this since Chrome screwsup any torrent attempted download to utorrent.
  8. That's good to know one day I'll update and give it a try. I also recall someone on reddit someone said it didn't work so until I restore my system and test. I'll know by then.

    Curious

Where you downloaded that torrent from.
  10. seems like that is web installer but if you did more clicks you would also find it as well. https://www.utorrent.com/desktop/#comparison-panels
  11. Didn't think you could redo this - didn't they have to recreate them after moving them.
  12. That isn't utorrent site. This is the site you get utorrent from. https://www.utorrent.com/
  13. Then check your provider then they could have software/hardware to detect torrrent usage and stop such traffic.

That goes beyond utorrent software help. If you need more on that you need to go to fansub site and ask about .srt files and help on those.
  15. That's good that what they said but if you gone to the Firefox forum you will see users say it's alot work since you would have to do this constantly for all sorts of file extensions you download and some won't go directly to the program that runs it.
  16. Lost torrent or deleted torrent of this can be a hot mess to fix and restore. How many torrents are we talking about? If you only deleted the torrent file itself and not moved or changed any location putting them back should restart the unfinished torrent from where it stopped. The .dat should still be there if you didn't delete it. But if it is missing or not the same that can be a problem. So you will have to find in the Recycle did you do just a "Restore" option that should bring it back to the correct folder/directory. I've done this before but if it delete the Recycle Bin then restore is gone and finding them will be impossible unless a 3rd party software can search and restore the files back.
  17. Disable Norton to install it. You can uninstall Norton just because they install doesn't mean you can't uninstall it. Then get rid of Norton it's the worst for torrent usage and acting more like malware.
  18. Some magnet links takes time to start. You need to check in the All downloads section of utorrent to find the magnet if it starts to see if it is there. Magnet links aren't like torrent links by default.
  19. Unless you find more trackers to add to the torrent there not much anyone else here can do to help that. So you need to search and find more torrents and tracker that match that torrent to add more trackers to it.
  20. FYI. ISP bandwidth speeds =/= to torrent speeds. Torrent speeds are based on Swarm/Seeders-the more the share the faster the sharing. But if you have high download and then drops to kb/s that usually means ISP throttle that is detecting torrent usage and blocking it. And at that point there nothing you can do other then use a VPN or Proxy to bypass this block unless they block those access.
  21. Usually 98% is either the uploader is offline and no longer uploading or that files is fake torrent to catch unsuspecting torrent users to waste their bandwidth. So if you look for another torrent of the same file and find little to any torrents that could indicate Fake torrent.
  22. Sounds like IT is blocking remote connections.
  23. On Mozilla forum there was another user that followed those process and it downloaded rather then start the torrent software. So it was a hit and miss. I reimaged my system and update to 97.0.2 and Regedit to stop Update Checks. I won't go past 97.0.2 until Firefox fixes back so it's user choice not Firefox choice and fix real security bugs not introduce security holes. Some malware/virus sites jus requires a click to download and that's all they need to infect and Firefox 98.x.x jut gave them that BackDoor access for free.
  24. If I recall you have to recreate those torrents to be able to share them again. If you left them in the downloaded location it would auto share them once you download them. I did simple search and you will have to look online to see various methods to create torrent to re-seed them agian.
