I have read all that Ultima. You will all be happy to know this will be my last attempt at making my point (please hold applause till the end of the thread). I will try to keep everything factual and only acknowledge Ludde's posts and uncontested interviews as his words. At this point most of us still think PeerFactor is a division of RetSpan, and there are no attempts to correct this thinking. Ludde apparently didn't know anything about the ties to RetSpan. End Quote Here we get a little history on PeerFactor. To which I find it had to believe he wouldn't clarify the different entities right there and then during the interview, and not five days later. Yes they are no longer in any way linked to RetSpan, and yes they have a new agenda. Being that PeerFactor only left RetSpan 6 months ago; if you know the name logically you would know the history. Especially if you are going to do business with them. Weather it be SARL or not according to FIRON the name PeerFactor has a past with Anti-P2P. I just think Ludde has made statements that contradict. And this is not a personal attack by any means. I believe in words, if you say something mean it. If for some reason Ludde didn't know the real history (which I think may be the case) then say so. He is only human everyone makes mistakes, and I don't think any would think less of him for it. I explaind my concern in thread #141. What i was hoping for is a resonable answer to Ludde's responces in regards to his knowledge of Peerfactors past. I just feel this new responce is just adding more room for speculation. If the interviewer knew there were 2 Peerfactors, he would of specified to which he was inquiring. Ludde should have specified which Peerfactor he was comenting on in his answer. This is the first i have heard of the 2 seperate entities know as Peerfactor. I was under the impretion that Peerfactor simply left the Retspan organization, as has been stated all over the Forums. I believe this is an impotant fact to be left out of the initial interview, or second for that matter. What I am asking is the same question; Why would Ludde first say he didnt know, then say he did but didnt think it was a big deal. Please dont think i am trying to start anything here other than ask this simple question. I think UT is a fantastic client, and didnt plan on switchig any time soon. still confused; GUYNEWBIE

I'm sorry to say this sounds like a typical backpeddaling politicians answer. I find it had to believe you wouldnt clarify the different entities right there and then during the interview. I was saving judjment untill you had a chance to clairify your answers in the interview, and now this answer (IMO) only makes you look even worse. I dont know maybe the language barrier may play a part, something lost in translation?? This, for me will take some of the certainty out of UT's future. Well, basically he's saying that he didn't know about it. However, a lot of people don't believe this, I guess it's just like everything with µTorrent, you are trusting ludde by running his code so you'll have to deal with it really. At first he said he didnt know, bt then he said he did know but didnt think it was a big deal. I have read everyhing on slycks forums and every thread here concerning Ludde's new venture. All my questions have been answerd save one. I dont really understan why Ludde would ( I dont want to say lie) misslead every one about his knowledge of PeerFactors past. I am happy for Ludde in making some much deserved cash, and am very happy with UT, with no intent on changng to any other client. I would however like a reasonable explanation of this deceptive answer.
