  1. What was the reason to split "Save in" field in "Add new torrent" dialog to "Save in" and "Name"? I thought at first that "Name" means "Name of torrent"... It's really annoying that you change the order of fields in dialogs. In v2, to get to "Label" field you had to press Tab 4 times. In 3.1 - Shift-Tab 2 times. Now - Tab 6 times. Remember that some users prefer to use keyboard, not mouse!
  2. Stable, beta - it's just words. 3.1.3 and 3.2 are both working... somehow.
  3. To be precise, if a label contains the ampersand it won't be checked in the label list after marking a torrent with it (by adding a label). A marked torrent has the label, but it stays unchecked - so we can't remove the label in any way.
  4. A label is gone from the list if no torrents have it checked, isn't it?
  5. I believe I found the reason of this issue. It happens when there is the ampersand ('&') inside the label. So I hope you guys will fix it quickly. Now we have only 2 ways to get around this issue - to use either BEncode Editor or v2.
  6. Keep in mind, it only helps for -new- torrents. You'd have to remove and re-add existing torrents. I do keep it in mind. It doesn't help!
  7. On Win2k3 it doesn't really help.
  8. Does "Global maximum number of connections" setting work for anybody? It has value "550" for me but I continiously see in Alert log of KControl such messages: I've tried to raise the limit to 1200 connections per host - no luck, uT host has successfully reached this limit, too.
  9. No. There are a useful utility that I use on uTorrent server; it doesn't work under Win2k8. On the other hand I can't move to WinXP 'cause my uTorrent server is actually the virtual Hyper-V machine and WinXP doesn't support dynamic memory.
  10. Disk Overload 100% issue in Win2k3 still exists. Is it going to be fixed someday?
  11. I don't trust auto-update 'cause I have lost all my settings this way once. Thanks God I have had a backup. Not to mention that I'm still heavily using v2 because of disk overloading issues in v3.
  12. 26740 isn't available to download, it's 26729 that is downloaded on the link on the first page of the topic.
  13. Following issues are still present in 26708: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=625010#p625010 http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=623156#p623156 http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=621412#p621412
  14. I still have "Disk overload 100%" issue on Win2k3...
  15. Ultima, thanks for great tool! That's a really useful stuff. Something wrong with the way BEE uses the memory. I'm processing really large resume dat (12898058 bytes), replacing some strings with another by "Replace all". I noticed that every new replace increases Private Bytes value of BEE process. After a few replaces we get an error message (something about memory, I don't remember the exact text), then after a while BEE silently crashes. Tested in WinXP SP3 and Win2k3 R2 SE SP2. In fact, the only safe way is to restart BEE after each replace. Simple reloading file doesn't help. Feature request: in Replace options, please add "Search everywhere" option to the corresponding drop-down list: on large dat files, reopening Replace dialog window takes a long time. Also, hot ("underlined") keys for buttons ("Replace all", "Replace" etc) would be appreciated.
  16. The issues I reported earlier still exist in 26650: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=625010#p625010 http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=623156#p623156 http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=621412#p621412
  17. Got "disk overload 100%" again. Bad, bad...
  18. I've done 2 things: 1. Removed DC role from the server uT is on. 2. Moved to build 26616. Now I don't get "Disk overload 100%" message (at least didn't yet). Maybe I've run out of physical memory so "Disk overload" was related to the disk swap file is on? But v2 worked fine, though... Added: I doubt about running out of physical memory. In fact, I almost run out of it again - it is eated by uT and Mozilla mostly. But no "Disk overload" occurs. So the issue might be related to DC role.
  19. I believe that's a joke. Disk cache is less important than RSS? For BitTorrent client? Great...
  20. Then I'd like to ask developers - isn't it possible to rollback changes in working with cache? Sounds silly, yeah... But I believe such issues should have high priority in to-be-fixed list.
  21. Specific issues introduced in version 3? Version 2 works OK.
  22. rafi Win2k3 R2 Std x86 / WD20EARS. Yes, I restarted - not just uT, server too. The issue is here.
  23. With 3.1.26595, I continuously get "Disk overloaded 100%" warning when downloading at relatively slow speed - 1-1,5 MBytes per sec. I have played with settings (coalesce_write_size, low_prio_disk - as Rafi described) and checkboxes on "Disk Cache" tab - no effect. I reverted back to 2.2.0.21738 and of course there's no such issue with that version - even 6-7 Mbytes per sec download speed doesn't cause disk overload. What to do?..
  24. RC9: "temporary hang" on startup still exists. For the last time, torrent counter got frozen on 2747, was in this state at least 7 minutes, in next 7 minutes uT returned to life.
  25. I report again: 3.1 starts significantly slower then 3.0 with thousands of torrents within list: it hangs for a couple of minutes on a particular torrent (that changes with every try), counter on the left side gets frozen. Then it returns to life. If a dump is needed, I'm ready to help.
