  1. Again, less is more. You waste more bandwidth on protocol overhead the more peer connections and torrents you run at a time.
  2. You, along with many others, are stuck on the emule train of thought in regards to download speeds. Running more torrents at a time does NOT improve your overall speeds. I am able to max out a 20mbit/15mbit line with 1 download using 40 peer connections. More torrents and more peer connections means you will be splitting your connection more ways, reducing the effectiveness of individual connections.
  3. They look horrendous. Trying to open 1600 connections at once with a global limit of 300 kind of doesn't work (read: will cause major problems)
  4. Post the hijackthis log and process explorer process list with the dll list for the utorrent.exe process then.
  5. Plus, there have been several display issues caused by using translations.
  6. Well, privates track you more and are more likely to throw you under a bus when the authorities show up.
  7. I Wikipedian protester this claim. There is no code preventing the free version from limiting properly. If you have an improper limit set for your connection, overall performance WILL suffer.
  8. Or you could purge your settings.dat, settings.dat.old, resume.dat and resume.dat.old from %appdata%\utorrent with uTorrent not running at all.
  9. Also, the randomized peer id doesn't change the "key" value being sent to the tracker at the correct stage.
  10. Either fix the timing for the peer id+key randomization or give us the option to turn off the peer id randomization.
  11. No option to turn off peer id randomization yet.
  12. Give us the option to turn off the peer id randomization.
  13. Some tracker software that strict-enforces peer-id+key combinations rejects this.
  14. Changelogs need more proactive posting than they've been getting the past year. The number of times people have had to pester for them has been excessive.
  15. Support for plus-specific features is handled by a dedicated support team. Not the forums. http://help.utorrent.com/customer/portal/emails/new
  16. You not researching why it's not on the autoupdater. That's the reason. EVERY VERSION THAT COMES OUT HAS AT LEAST 20 PEOPLE THAT ASK THE SAME THING YOU DID
  17. Because we haven't put 3.2 on the automatic updater at 100% penetration yet. JUST LIKE EVERY FUCKING VERSION THAT HAS COME IN THE PAST 3 YEARS!
  18. I guess your reading comprehension is on the low side. Thanks for paying attention.
  19. Or, you know, you could read the entire thread instead of just one post in it.
  20. A baseless reason is a baseless reason no matter how you try to justify it.
  21. Nope. That's the canned response for private trackers banning uTorrent and hasn't had any proof to back it up.
