Thx Hofshi. Know wats Protocol Encryption. Got confused with the short form Could someone tell me which option shd I put for PE if my ISP is throttling? Do i leave the box ticked for legacy connections. What does that mean?

Thats coz Singnet has a direct line to ur house and bittorent traffic can be easily monitored. Friends have got letters after downloading 1 movie. Starhub was the alternative coz it had one big pipe to an area which was divided among its users. And many pple went to it coz of that. And now its back to square one. Useless! @Firon. Wats PE?

Bloody Starhub! It was cool last time, then recently it has started throttling the speeds. The accidental cutting off the pipe was an excuse. The isp got overloaded with bittorent traffic until its pipe cdnt take it and gave way. So now they have decided to throttle the traffic. U can d/l still but 1/5th of the speeds. And for a connection of 250kB/s , thats a measly 50kB/s.

I guess that option of spywareblaster works for me coz for the past week, i haven got any spywares detected in spybot and adaware.

But Firon, even with the Immunize option, I used to get the same spywares detected everyday. I ran spybot, deleted the spyware, used spywareblaster and never saw those spywares again. Spybot only has browser help for IE. SpywareBlaster has help for Firefox.

SpywareBlaster is awesome! Prevention is always better than cure. And it prevents spyware from infecting ur system while at the same time doesnt run in ur taskbar and use up memory usage such as products like spyware doctor. Together with Spybot and Adaware, ur system is as good as secure. (For spyware i mean)

Silverfire, i cant seem to connect to msn using GAIM. I just do the basics they ask for like username and password and i keep gettin error in connection? Any pointers?

Just got TuneUp Utilities 2006. Got rid of CCleaner and FreeRam XP Pro coz TuneUp does both. Tuneup also does defragging but i still use Diskeeper Pro.

I did exactly that in msn. But an error came out that stated connection refused. My password and username were correct. Went back to Trillian. Wanted to use GAIM coz it had gtalk and trillian didnt

Ok i hope this is not offtopic. But i just tried GAIM and i cdnt connect to msn. Anybody who uses GAIM cd help me? And how good is cFosSpeed?

I started using this client when 1.1.1 came out. Have had doubts when it came to it being hard on the hardisk but after using it, and talking to many people, i have realised and actually know for a fact this is one helluva of a client. Plus i just realise my ram doesnt get eaten up like hell when i set disk flush files to "true" Man now the client is even better! haha Thx to ludde for seeing the "light" and restarting the project.
