Dex1138 Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 Hiya!Had a quick (hopefully) question. I have a humongoid torrent I'm d/l but not enough HD space to hold the whole thing once it finishes. What I want to do is archive the parts that finish and delete them so I can continue to d/l the remainder. But when I remove the files and restart the torrent µTorrent is looking for them even if I mark them as skip.Is there some way I can do this? Thanks in advance!
Ghost21 Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 You need to force recheck after deleting the files.
castle Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 it's an option when you right click on the torrent, by the way.
TheBear Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 How are people supposed to leech the parts of the file that you removed?
Firon Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 They can't. That's why it's rather inconvenient to remove files.
TheBear Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 My question was somewhat rhetorical. I can only wonder what is being d/l'ed that won't fit on an average hard drive.
Nefarious Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 hey, it could be a 1.2GB torrent where u have 1GB free
