JDinAZ
I have been using µTorrent for quite some time, and use µTorrent Remote on an almost daily basis to manage my torrents while away from home. Yesterday I purchased service from Proxy.sh so I could use µTorrent anonymously with their proxy server. But after setting up the proxy server in µTorrent settings, µTorrent Remote no longer works -- I get an error message reading "400: Client is not connected". The Remote tab of settings also shows that µTorrent Remote can't connect like it used to. I'm also not able to get the older option (Web UI) to work either, no matter which IP address I use to connect: My computer's IP, my proxy server's IP, my modem's IP... I've tried everything I can think of! Please tell me there's a way I can do to get µTorrent Remote working again (and/or Web UI, but µTorrent would be preferred) so I can handle my torrents on the go again but download only using the proxy server. Thank you for your time.

JDinAZ
Remote won't work over proxy. What about "Web UI"? That appears to be an entirely different option! I also have a jailbroken iPhone 5 with both the µTorrent app and the "Bar Magnet" app from Cydia. Will any of those 3 options (or anything at all) work while µTorrent is working over a proxy? (Alternatively, would using a VPN with a "kill switch" instead of a Proxy Server give me any more options to use either µTorrent Remote, Web UI, or the µTorrent or Bar Magnet jailbroken iPhone Cydia apps?) DreadWingKnight
The webui needs port forwarding of some kind (either by your proxy back to your computer or though your main router connecting that way). A VPN could work with remote, but it depends on what the VPN allows and blocks.
