Utorrent permanently minimized

hmmm, strange this one.

when i launch utorrent it launches minimized to the taskbar. i cannot maximize program at all. this only started yesterday (pg2 does the same thing, but im mainly concerned with utorrent). when i right-click to quit utorrent - it doesnt quit - i have to use task mgr to quit prog.

i have tried:

1. checked short-cut to make sure its not telling utorrent to launch minimized

2. tried new beta build

3. run reg cleaners

4. run ad-aware - all clear

5. run spybot s&d - all clear

any solution to this one?

try clearing the files in Application Data\uTorrent ?

Delete settings.dat and settings.dat.old in %AppData%\uTorrent.
