Ultima
No difference =PLazy bitfield helps if your ISP is throttling seeding. The blocking of the ports is bt.no_connect_to_services.
Firon
It does no harm having lazy bitfield on by default anyway (Az and BC do).
-$$$$$-
oh..thanks for the help that's what i wanted to know.i'll leave Lazy Bitfield enabled anyways too.
Switeck
Lazy Bitfield will mask seeds somewhat from being labeled as such. This may cause people to think a torrent is "lacking seeds", but on the beneficial side you're not using extra bandwidth advertising pieces of the file that (almost) everyone has. Firon
No, not really... It still advertises you as a seeder to the tracker, and the peer only sees you as a peer for like a second. In the end, you end up showing as a seeder.
-$$$$$-
so if i leave Lazy Bitfield ON, the tracker and peers will see me as a seed anyways right?
Firon
Yes. Peers initially (for like, a second or two) see you as a peer, but after that you're a normal seed like anyone else.
Switeck
Cool, if it shows up as a seed then it's all good then.
