upload is much greater than download

I am unable to control upload limit on mac(el capitan),... i dont mind uploading equal to downloading but in my case the upload size is much more than download.

even when i try to limit my upload utorrent doesn't obey and keeps uploading more than downloading

please help me with what settings/preferences i must use,

I am totally new and dumb with torrents so i appreciate a step by step answer/instruction

If you're uploading more than you're downloading WHILE you're downloading, there's literally NOTHING you can do about it. Bandwidth demand spread is not going to let you.
