Vj379q
I've recently got a new connection installed from a private ISP near my home. My torrent speed was 1-3 Mbps upto 3 days then suddenly it falled to 250kbps. I dont understand what the problem is !!! I used to download with the android app of utorrent and then tried with my windows 8.1 but nothing changed.
PiusX
Does the problem persist with slackware torrents? http://slackware.com/getslack/torrents.php
Vj379q
Let me explain (mbps = megabit p/s) (Mbps = Megabyte p/s) I have a connection of 2 mbps which counts as 250 Kbps on normal download speed I get YouTube speed of about 1-2 Mbps* & i used to get torrent speed at upto 3.5 Mbps* But now i dont, now i get only 250 kbps on torrents (even on files with top seeding) & slackware also gives just 250 Kbps.. PiusX
Youtube isn't utorrent so your comparing Apples to Oranges and that doesn't work here. The 250kbps mean your ISP is throttling your internet when it dectects torrent activities that is why. Youtube isn't consider torrent so you will get full speed. The word you said is "i used to get" that no longer will works now.
