Need help with custom colors

From Firon on 13 Oct 2010: "'btskin' contains a list of settings and their colors, allowing you to change almost every color in the client to your liking." What setting do I change for the color used as the background for highlighted lines? I can't see the highlight on my system. I can't find documentation of the items in 'btskin' anywhere. I see an item called download_list_highlight, but changing it doesn't seem to do anything. Also, why do green values of 00 behave the same as ff for some items? For example, list_text:ff01ff is magenta as expected, but list_text:ff00ff is white. What gives here? Thanks in advance for any insight.
