Sharing with a friend

Hi, I'm trying to share some large files with a friend. I've dragged the first file into the program, copied the magnet link and sent it to him. It says it's seeding but that nothing's uploading. He is also using utorrent and just gets this message " You're using a mobile device, so downloading may not be supported. You may attempt a download with the magnet link.

Why don't you use something like dropbox or mediafire those are faster to use.

Dropbox is a pain if you're sharing multiple large files.

To illustrate, I've just tried uploading the first file to Dropbox and it says it will take 7 hours just to upload it.

And you truly believe that torrenting would actually be faster?

It won't in a 1 to 1 situation.

Why don't you give him remote connections to directly download the files? That will be more direct. This is getting beyond the scope of discussion of utorrent as I see it now.
