bittorrent 7.96, buiuld 42095 (32 bit) not displaying torrents

APRIL 14, 2016 -- suddenly this morning, bittorrent 7.9.6, build 42095 (32 bit) decided to (i must have hit some hotkey) stop displaying torrents and the info of whichever torrent was selected in that now-nonexistent top pane, on the same INFO page.  How do i get back to displaying everything on the info page?  Also, the double headed arrows where i could resize the panels (except the left sidebar is still sizable) have disappeared.   It currently looks like the picture, and should have the current (active and inactive) torrents on top ---

I really thought that utorrent and bittorrent was by the same people.  Anyway i fixed it myself yesterday.  Previously, when this happened i uninstalled (completely) and then reinstalled and that "fixed" it, though i had no idea what had gone wrong.  This time, the solution made no sense, was illogical, and was pure trial and error, luck-of-the-draw, on my part.   So i am once again with no clue to why it suddenly goes south.  Thanks for the replies.

It is (...but you know what the forum "police" are like!). It's basically the same program under a different banner. Probably uTorrent is more the development branch. BitTorrent always has the slight higher stable build number.
