Avarial
I am getting ready to reformat my comp, and I would like to keep my "downloaded" list intact so i dont waste time redownloading stuff I already have. Is this possible, and how do I do it?
PiusX
Follow the migration instructions first.... If so, you have to run through the migration guide to fix it. http://help.utorrent.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1826054-how-do-i-migrate-torrents-from-a-different-client-to-utorrent-?b_id=3883
Avarial
Saw that during my search earlier, but wasn't sure if it was what I needed.....Didn't know if there was a simple "copy %AppData%" type fix that would repopulate the list for me Thank you for your help
PiusX
You can do that just copy the utorrent folder in the userdata folder but the location of utorrent installed location must match the previous data file and all your torrent must be present for it to work as before. Missing any parts of this and it will not work loose the downloading torrent files and that is the end of your torrent and you will have to start from "0". I done this when I reinstalled utorrent but I have it set to a specific HDD location so nothing is lost so it restarts like it did before.
Avarial
I just completed my reinstall, and replaced the appdata info......have not replaced the DLing locations as of yet.........but all my files are showing up properly in the list, which is what me goal was in the first place I will still go through the migration instructions to make sure nothing is missed Thank you PiusX
aanyadsouza
I agree with PiusX. You can do that simply duplicate the utorrent organizer in the userdata envelope however the area of utorrent introduced area must match the past information document and all your deluge must be available for it to fill in as some time recently.
