I downloaded some movies on utorrents and to extract the file it is requesting for password. How do i generate the password. Kindly assist. Thanks. mike20021969 Posted May 21, 2016 Report Share Posted May 21, 2016 Torrent's containing files that are password protected normally include some sort of a text file containing a URL, or a shortcut .url file, to some extremely dodgy website where the password can supposedly be obtained. Avoid visiting such a such like the plague. Assuming the password wasn't provided on the torrent's description page, leave a message for the torrent uploader asking what the password is. If you're directed to a website to retrieve it, DON'T GO. As a rule, DO NOT entertain password protected files. Just delete them.
