soutermon
When downloading a torrent from a magnet link, it starts off quite quick, getting over 4mbps depending on seeders etc, but then it slows down, going below 1mbps. If I stop the download and start again, it then starts off quickly once again, but then slows down. Same happens if I move the torrent up/down. Is there a setting where I can stop this happening? It happened now and again with my old broadband provider, but now I have changed over to a new provider, it happens with every torrent I try to download. Starting to get really annoying! DreadWingKnight
There is nothing you can do. Swarm conditions cause this, not settings.
soutermon
So am I destined to be stuck with this annoying problem? It only ever happened now and again with my old provider, but now it happens with everything I download. Don't want to have to continually stop/start every torrent to get it downloaded quicker. DreadWingKnight
Then don't sit and micromanage your client. It doesn't magically help.
soutermon
You're right, it doesn't magically help, yet it still helps to download the torrent quicker. A simple no would have sufficed.
