mike1127
I am using the uTorrent feature of binding to a local IP, specifically my TAP adapter, but it keeps changing every time I disconnect and reconnect to the VPN (PIA). This happens whether I use the PIA client or OpenVPN on Windows. How can I configure the TAP adapter to have a fixed local IP address?
PiusX
That is handled by your PIA or VPN provider utorrent has nothing to do with that.

This is necessary to use uTorrent's ability to bind to an IP, hence I thought people here would want to know how to do. And no, it's not handled by the VPN provider. It's a configuration of the TAP adapter; i.e. a driver on my computer. I can't get an answer about this from anywhere else after a few weeks of trying. PiusX
Contact the VPN(PIA) to resolve the setup-utorrent doesn't do those setups.
