i3v
I just ran into the bug, described here, here and in some other places. Quote Namely, when I try to open a torrent file or try to download through magnet link the uTorrent program starts (the file is associated) but no window is displayed in which I can choose the location or the label of the torrent file, and moreover I get the message "The torrent file you are trying to add is already in the list of torrents, Do you want to load the trackers from it". And no matter what I choose the file is not shown in the "Downloading" nor in the "Torrents". I've checked in the "Labels" -> "Hidden" and there it was with status "Error: Can't open .torrent file". And to be more interesting, when trying to add another torrent, the message "The torrent file you are trying to add is already in the list of torrents, Do you want to load the trackers from it" does NOT appear but the uTorrent application is blinking once, like it is recognizing the file but does nothing... I try to delete it, and add another torrent, and sometimes only the firstly added torrent file is shown in the "Hidden" and all others are missing from everywhere... sometimes the app is blinking and no torrent is shown in no folder... The message "The torrent file you are trying to add is already in the list of torrents, Do you want to load the trackers from it" appears only for the firstly added torrent file... When the problem occurred I used the 3.4.2 build 32354 stable version, and afterwards tried the newest beta version, and with no progress. I just want to report, that the issue is still there for version 3.4.7 build 423300. And that the only way to fix this is to Options -> Preferences -> UI Settings -> WHen Adding Torrents -> UNCHECK the option "Show option to change the name and location of the torrent data. DreadWingKnight
That's not the correct fix. The correct fix is to move that window back on to your main display from whatever secondary display it's currently on.
