Downloading specific files

Hello everybody,

Whenever I download a torrent I get a pop-up window that allows me to select which files in the torrent I want to download. However, this does not seem to work, at times where I don't select all the files Utorrent still seems to download the entire thing. Anybody knows how I can get this fixed?

How big are the files that you are skipping?

Just typing here because I can't reply anymore for some reason, 

So what about the files that are bigger than a few KB's? They get downloaded aswell everytime

Actually size DOES matter.

If the files you're skipping are small enough that they overlap on pieces of files that you are downloading and are fully contained in those cross-file pieces, they WILL be downloaded regardless due to the requirements for piece checking.
