arthoz Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 Running Litestep as a shell here, and when Using "Open Containing Folder..." in µTorrent (build 474) 1.6, it starts the explorer.exe shell before opening the folder, instead of just opening the folder. (as it does in 1.5)Very annoying ^^;
Ultima Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 Probably has to do with the select file thing now... =T
rafi Posted July 9, 2006 Report Posted July 9, 2006 didn't it always open the selected folder in an explorer window?
Ultima Posted July 9, 2006 Report Posted July 9, 2006 Yeah, but it didn't select (highlight) the file.
rafi Posted July 9, 2006 Report Posted July 9, 2006 This is not what I understood from arthoz post...
Ultima Posted July 9, 2006 Report Posted July 9, 2006 I know, but what I was saying was that that the highlight thing is probably Explorer specific, and that since it (maybe) isn't emulated in LiteStep, it forces Explorer to open instead.
saarja Posted July 17, 2006 Report Posted July 17, 2006 Hello,I have noticed same problem or bug (at two win xp sp2 pcs)I upgraded 1.5 to 1.6, after that open containing folder function wont work!Please fix this annoying problem...-Janne
Ultima Posted July 17, 2006 Report Posted July 17, 2006 Um, this thread wasn't about it not working. It was about it opening explorer.exe in a LiteStep environment... At any rate, it does work, so there's a problem on your end, not µTorrent's.
saarja Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 ...LiteStep or not, i'm just wondering why this feature worked with earlier versions like 1.5 but not 1.6... and after upgreiding to v1.6 this feature stop working.And with two PC, same problem... -Janne-Edit- I downloaded old v1.5 and no problems with "open containing folder"-feature.But anyway, thanks for great client...
Firon Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 It explicitly calls explorer to open the folder and highlight the file/folder.
