cheers
I've accidentally delete the entire uTorrent directory. I have all the partial downloads saved in a different folder, which appears to contain actual files and a file similar to ~uTorrentPartFile_8D3C8D24.dat. Is there any way to recover from these dat files? Thanks
DreadWingKnight
Those .dat files contain pieces that are from skipped files. http://help.utorrent.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1826054-how-do-i-migrate-torrents-from-a-different-client-to-utorrent-?b_id=3883
cheers
The problem is that I don't have the torrent files. They were in the uTorrent folder and got deleted.
DreadWingKnight
Then you need to go back to the websites you got them from and use those.

Unless you have a program to undelete folders then any attempts to recover will be "0" because you overwrote the folder and making recovery with nothing to recover. So you will have to go back to the sites you got the files from.
