aquanet
Hello guys. So I am trying to seed on utorrent using my main computer, and basically I want to know if it's possible to eliminate the latency issues when seeding by binding utorrent to a particular network card. I seed on my wireless card and game on my ethernet card and I can see through the Windows network tools that utorrent and my game are running on the separate cards, however I still get ping spikes in my game. Is this unavoidable or am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance. Oh and the two cards are on the same internal network / use the same ISP. DreadWingKnight
Because both adapters are on the same network, you're still bottlenecking at the same router. no amount of adapter re-binding will change things until one of them is on a separate internet connection. aquanet
Thank you, you are right. My initial assumption was that any active bittorrent connection would cause network flood but it seems there is a tipping point relative to the total bandwidth of the adapter. I was able to set utorrent to certain upload rate and my ping was steady.
