submachine0
Any chance the software can start measuring speed in Megabits? (As opposed to Megabytes). I frequently have to perform conversions for throttling etc. Bits is by far the more commonly used data rate standard in networks and systems. PiusX
Your network is your network what your ISP does you can't change that if they throttle they will throttle.
submachine0
I'm referring to the *units of measure* chosen by uTorrent, displayed in "Down Speed" and "Up Speed". Nothing to do with ISP, I mean when *I* want to throttle a torrent (Download Limit) to, say 50% of my bandwidth. Network bandwidth is most commonly measured in Bits - whereas uTorrent uses Bytes. EDIT: to be clear, when I want to throttle to 50%, I need to consider what 100% is ... that's done by doing a speedtest - which gives you Bits. I then need to google "X Megabit to Megabytes" in order to get the number that I need to set in uTorrent. I suppose I'm asking why just not use Bits in uTorrent for Bandwidth allocation when Bandwidth is measured in Bits by the rest of the planet. (To be fair, I've noticed that other Torrent clients also measure in Bytes).
rafi
Multiplying x8 is not such a huge effort... But units' setting can be nice to have...

Heh, true enough. I am being a bit nitpicky it's really not a major hindrance.
