DrNice
Referring to this thread as I believe it was closed by mistake: https://forum.utorrent.com/topic/102796-extratorrent-rss-feed-failure/ I cant read RSS Torrents from extratorrent either. But only RSS torrents. Manually downloaded torrents work perfect. As well as other clients can work with RSS and Extratorrent, it is clearly not a problem with extratorrent blocking me, but there is a problem with uTorrent RSS feed. Or whatsoever, please have a look into this issue. Thanks
DreadWingKnight
Extratorrent is who you should be talking to, not us.
DrNice
But why is Extratorrent working with other clients and not with uT? This cant be their fault, as they recently said, it is not their fault.... https://extratorrent.unlockme.site/forum/topic/23999/rss+feeds+not+working+in+utorrent.html
rafi
I have another hint to this possible issue - here is the error message I get when uTorrent first attempt with this feed (and some others). I don't remember seeing that warning before. Maybe this can give another clue to a possible issue? There are also some suggestions here: https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/dgorti/2005/09/18/only-one-usage-of-each-socket-address-protocolnetwork-addressport-is-normally-permitted/
PiusX
extratorrent problems are for their support to respond to asking utorrent to fix extratorrent won't go far here.
DrNice
Exratorrent support says, its uTorrents fault.
DreadWingKnight
Do they say why?
DrNice
https://extratorrent.unlockme.site/forum/topic/23999/rss+feeds+not+working+in+utorrent.html But again: How can Extratorrent work with other clients but not with uTorrent, but uTorrent says "its the problem with ET". you possible could check why it works with other clients and maybe find a fix. Saying "not our fault" is very too easy.
mike20021969
What did extratorrent try to fix if it isn't their problem? "ok we looked into it and did some fixing.. could u check and confirm if it is working for u now"
DreadWingKnight
Saying "not our fault" is very too easy. And if they don't provide proof that it is uTorrent's fault (including the relevant server request information that is triggering the 403 on THEIR site) then there's nothing we're going to be able to do about it. PiusX
If extt isn't willing to help you configure your RSS then nothing utorrent can do since utorrent isn't extt.
DrNice
But then again I ask you, why is for example qBitorrent and other clients working and uTorrent not?! Then you say "ET problem" and fine? Well, ok.
DreadWingKnight
I guess this is never going to get solved at this point. I've indicated what information will be required to fix it. Until that's provided, do NOT open additional threads on the issue.
