bittorrentnow ad has taken over my screen on Utorrent 3.4.8

Yesterday when I had Utorrent running all of a sudden the screen with my torrents disappeared & the screen was taken over by a ad from bittorrent now. I dont know how to get back to the screen that monitors the torrents. I have used Utorrrent client for a long time and this has never happened before. I tried uninstalling & reinstalling only to have the same ad & I cant see my torrents. Can anyone help me figure out how to get back to the torrents screen?
