frekiwolf
When you select "Don't Download" a file and mark it's priority to "skip" then close uTorrent and open it again the "skip" files will still be marked with "skip" but will act as if they are "normal" and it will download the entire torrent not just the selected files. To fix that I always need to stop the torrent and select all the files and "skip" them again.
DreadWingKnight
And how big are these skipped files?
frekiwolf
The size varies from a few bytes up to 600 MB, the torrent itself it's 50 GB.

zenax
I had the same problem, I changed the options and it was fixed. You have to change the options and add the torrent file again. norton75
mine is set to true and I've never mucked with the settings and my file still download even when set to "skip". This is seriously broken.
BlueRaja
I'm seeing a similar issue - the start and end of every file is being downloaded, even when they are marked as "skipped". I'm attempting to download only a few files out of a torrent with many, but this bug is making it impossible. The issue was reported over two years ago: but still has not been fixed in the latest version. I have diskio.use_partfile=true and bt.prio_first_last_piece=false, but the issue still occurs. I am downloading video files, and it appears the above poster is also, if that matters.
SergeyQA
Can not reproduce that bug on my side. Could you guys send me link to the torrent you are using as a private message please? Thanks.
