considerate Posted September 14, 2016 Report Posted September 14, 2016 These errors start as read to disk errors and once I force re-check it changes to write to disk error Screenshot attached. Any ideas? Does not happen on every torrent which is frustrating.
DreadWingKnight Posted September 14, 2016 Report Posted September 14, 2016 Did you delete any files in the torrent? Have you double-checked the security properties on the downloads folder?

It seems to happen at random. Most movies, it happens to. This is the first tv show it's happened to.

I think you got torrent problem unrelated to utorrent.

DreadWingKnight Posted September 15, 2016 Report Posted September 15, 2016 What internet security software do you have installed?

Norton is junk it will disregard your instructions. I use MSE/Defender that is from Microsoft and it works fine and gives me no problems.

I've been using Norton for the past ~5 years with utorrent and I've not had any problems.
DreadWingKnight Posted September 16, 2016 Report Posted September 16, 2016 Norton IS a virus, not an antivirus.
considerate Posted September 16, 2016 Author Report Posted September 16, 2016 All right, so no help whatsoever. Appreciate it guys!

If your not willing to disable or remove it to find out what the problem is then no help is coming. I've seen first hand Norton when it was small grow to bloatware hogging memory and blocking any user settings. Norton has already been ferreted as a bloatware already believe what you want but Norton is no longer what it once was a small program that worked - has become a software to make money only. 9 hours ago, considerate said: All right, so no help whatsoever.
