eddlang Posted September 21, 2016 Report Posted September 21, 2016 I don't really know if this is a bug or by design, but it's user unfriendly anyway. Imagine you are downloading a torrent with 5 files in it. Say 1 or 2 files finish downloading and reach 100% before other files. utorrent does NOT remove the .!ut extensions from the completed files, unless... 1. the entire torrent is fully downloaded, or... 2. you stop the download. As soon as you stop, the extensions go away. This is with the latest 3.4.8 build 42576. IINM, this issue wasn't always there in utorrent. It popped up probably 1-2 years ago. Can't remember exactly when. I did report it at some point back then but it went unnoticed.
rafi Posted September 24, 2016 Report Posted September 24, 2016 Yeah, it is a known issue with multi-files torrents for some time now, that no one seems to prioritize ... IMHO, best way to w/a it is not use !ut till they'll fix it.
