Will the paused file resume after shutting down/launch'd my windows?

Ok so, i'm downloading some kind of simcity 5 games and it takes 1 day to download whole its game, Also it's almost the time where i have to sleep otherwise I'll get into trouble. Will my paused file resume after i shut down/launch'd my windows? I've been looking around if i pause my downloading file and then shut down and turns my windows on, But i'm still unsure if it worked since some says no and some says it worked.

Simple:  yes. Better to quit uTorrent in an orderly fashion, and not let windows shut it down, but it will resume both ways.

As long as you don't remove and delete the torrent and just close utorrent it should be there to start when you open utorrent the next time. But if you changed locations and deleted torrents then that is another matter.
