joshace Posted September 27, 2016 Report Posted September 27, 2016 I'm used to having Utorrent putting files from torrents containing just one file into the Download Directory, but putting files from torrents with multiple files into a full path subdirectory under the download directory. Currently, I'm only getting the relative paths instead of the full paths with multiple file torrents. I'm sure there is some simple setting that I'm not finding to fix this. ==== One other thing that annoys me is people using ancient versions of Utorrent 2.x thinking it is better. I can guarantee that the current version is MUCH better than the previous versions. Any benefit they think they are getting with the old versions is outweighed by other improvements. The problems I have with Utorrent are so minor they are barely relevant.

Screen shot of the preferences would be a start. 38 minutes ago, joshace said: One other thing that annoys me is people using ancient versions of Utorrent 2.x thinking it is better. I don't see how much improvements - can really be from no ads to ads bombarding you is better. Clean UI without ads would gone long way to get it accepted more but it really doesn't. If one ask the question it would be a hands down for older version without ads - trying to revise what people say is what will more or less annoy 2.x version users. So these type of replies doesn't help but annoy those 2.x users instead of helping. Users can use what version of utorrent they want old or new - part being the new is support and any older are locked or deleted that is how it goes. But fact remains 2.x users are out there calling them annoying helps no one.

I must admit, however, that you touched on the one big issue with the new versions.. those ads. I don't mind some ads.. but the utorrentie / webhelper ad engine is quite excessive. I think the ad process should be activated no more than once a minute.. but it is more like once a second.
