Brandi675 Posted October 17, 2016 Report Posted October 17, 2016 I have a Galaxy S5. For some reason my torrents are downloading to my phone's "dowloads", instead of Utorrent. I cannot figure out how to fix this. It happened out of nowhere. It's like Utorrent isn't catching the link. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, reset my phone. Tried to chage the download locations. Nothing is working.
jameshouston135 Posted October 18, 2016 Report Posted October 18, 2016 You need to describe the scenario in detail. Check the seed and peers of the torrent you are downloading. Check the connection speed. Ask your cable internet operator for the current peering speed. Have you installed any network tools which would share the bandwidth with other device like mobile phones? Have you installed any firewall or antivirus recently? All these can result in no connection or slow connection and would stop at "Connecting to Peers" !

Most times your ISP will throttle torrent usage or the seeder has limited bandwidth causing slow downloads. So there are a mirad of reasons why it is slow or not connecting.
