uTorrent 1.5.14 Build 26699 Speed Drop / Force Quit

I'm running uTorrent 1.5.14 Build 26699, under OS X 10.10.5. (I know it's quite an old version of uTorrent, but I like it, and it's approved at all the private trackers I use.)

Soon after starting a download, my speeds will plummet to around 9KB/s. uTorrent hangs when I try to quit, and I have to Force Quit.

I want to delete all settings and preferences, to try and rectify the problem.

I deleted the following file:

~/Library/Preferences/com.bittorrent.uTorrent.plist

And the entire folder:

~/Library/Application Support/uTorrent

But when I relaunched uTorrent, all the column settings, and toolbar customization I had done were still intact. They did not revert to the default settings you see when first installing uTorrent.

Also, the problem of plummeting download speed, and needing to Force Quit remains.

There must be some other settings or config file somewhere that I haven't found.

Any suggestions?
