DMeg Posted November 30, 2016 Report Share Posted November 30, 2016 Sorry for posting this on the bug section, but it doesn't seem to be a feature request. uTorrent opens a browser window when upgraded. When uTorrent is upgraded it launches default browser with an upgraded page message. Given the nature of uTorrent this could be an identity security breach. Imagine you are using a VPN with everything in place and you have a custom clean browser (secondary browser). Then you run uTorrent and it opens the default browser, even if you have your pages closed on your default browser the extensions by themselves expose your IP. I know we could debate for hours that this is not the best setup. But this setup is the easiest to work with between VPN and direct connection. uTorrent should never OPEN / LAUNCH a page (and open my default browser) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
